Real World Experience
I was fortunate to have the experience as a Current Programming Intern for Universal Content Productions, then Universal Cable Productions. During my summer, I was quickly thrown into the fast paced industry covering phones, managing Executives’ schedules, updating show binders, and scheduling notes for a full slate of shows.
Shadowing Shows
Given the opportunity to shadow a current show, I followed USA’s scripted comedy Playing House. From next season’s scripts to cuts of the current season, I was able to witness the notes process of a running sitcom firsthand. Spending time reading new drafts and watching dailies was my favorite part of working at UCP!
