From developing digital marketing strategies to controlling social media accounts, my time at the Second City Training Center in Chicago, IL was focused on expanding the reach of the theater and bringing more up and coming comedians into the Second City family, fully embracing the “Yes, And” methodology. I’m most proud of my work with the Harold Ramis Film School, focusing on sharing student success and engaging in the community at large on the bright comedic voices coming out of the program.
From Student to Teacher
Having completed the Harold Ramis Film School, the Second City Conservatory, and years of improv, sketch, and screenwriting classes, I was given the opportunity to sit on the other side of the table. I joined the faculty of the Second City Training Center to teach Introduction to TV & Film Writing. Each week, using favorite from Cheers to Get Out, we explore screenplay format, story structure, all the basics of screenwriting.
